She's best known as the actress in La Dolce Vita in the film comedy drama. The film received an Oscar along with the Golden Palm by the Cannes Film Festival. The film also had critical and commercial successes. The actress was born in Skane, Sweden and did modeling before she started her acting career. She took home her first Miss Sweden competition. Then she moved to the US after which she started appearing in a variety of films, playing minor roles. She played in the film Venusian Guard on Abbott and Costello Go to Mars, her first credits part. She soon won the Golden Globe award in the Most Promising Newcomer category after appearing in the film Blood Alley.
