Rene Marie Russo, an American actress and filmmaker who was a former supermodel is also a director of films. In addition to her graceful elegance, her continued successes in the film industry is testament to her abilities as a performer. She began her career modeling in the 70s, and quickly became one of the most prominent model actors. At the beginning of 1990, she began studying acting and theatre. Then after that, in Los Angeles and California she made her first stage appearances. Russo was first seen on screen in ABCs drama series Sable in 1987, playing the character of Eden Kendell. She portrayed Tom Berengers' love interest the following year in Major League, her debut film. At first, she was unsure of her ability as an actor but critics soon became impressed by her performance. Her most adored performance by critics was when she appeared in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak where she held her ground against Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. She claims that she never had a passion in acting. She was in 2005 when she was on a break that was her own decision. After a prolonged break, she returned for her part in Thor. Her husband's Oscar-winning movie Nightcrawler was one of her performances. The Intern followed, as did Just Getting Started.
Rose Namajunas is one of the female athletes with the highest success within the UFC. Her professional journey began as an amateur athlete performing various regional competitions before signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. And after that, she signed with Ultimate Fighting Championships. The success she has achieved both inside and outside in the Octagon has turned her into famous since she became a member of the UFC. Namajunas is born the 29th of June 1993 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian Immigrant family. Rose was a basketball player as well as kickboxing when she was growing into a young woman. Invicta Fighting Championships provided her with the opportunity to make her debut as a professional at age 18, when she defeated two of her opponents. It caught the attention to Dana White who signed her to join UFC the strawweight division on December 14, 2014, when she was just 22. Throughout Rose s career she has gone through periods of both highs and lows but each times she has come out ahead. Rose fought Carla Esparza to win the Women s Strawweight Championship in The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rose won with a technical knockout after under three minutes Round One. Rose was also named Fighter Of The Night and was a pioneer in the sport as it marked the first time women had ever competed on a level of championships within a major promotion organisation all over the world. Namajunas was victorious in several bouts after this one, and was awarded Performance Of The Night by UFC in her fights against Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
