Taylor began her YouTube career by making ASMR videos with the help of her cell phone. After achieving 50,000 subscribers within a month of the upload of her first video she was featured in a game video made created by PewDiePie. Taylor stopped making videos for her Youtube Channel at 2 months, and was nearly 100,000 subscribers. The reason for this was mostly due to technical issues related to the new equipment she was using, as well as the overwhelming success of her channel. She began producing videos after an absence of one month. The most popular was the famous ASMR Ten Triggers to Help You Sleep. (35,000,000 views in August 2022). ASMR 20 Triggers to Help You Sleep, a series of videos aimed at Sleeping, first appeared on YouTube in July of 2017 and is now watched by 38 million people. After reaching 1 million YouTube subscribers, she interviewed in an interview with Shane Dawson interview in August 2017. Wired UK estimates that her YouTube advertising revenues were $1,000 each week from February to March 2019.

Dennis Helfer, a Canadian farmer, and Elaine Helfer, a Canadian woman, were her parents. She has German, English and Swedish descendance. She was a student at William E. Hay Composite High School in Stettler, Alberta. Her sisters Tammy, Tara, and Trena were also employed by her on the family farm. At age 17, a modeling scout of an agency came across Helfer as she waited in line for the cinema.
